Something's Up At The Turner Ranch

Post by FenceLineWatcher »

Alright, I’m putting this up because the whole thing feels off and the folks involved aren’t exactly chatty.

The Turner family — yes, that Turner family, the ones with the biggest cattle operation in the country and enough land to hide a small town — is claiming they had an “animal incident” out near their west pasture.

That’s all they’ll say.

“Animal incident.”
No details. No species. No photos. Not even the usual rancher grumbling about coyotes or wild dogs.

I drove past the perimeter yesterday, and here’s what I saw:
– three separate sections of fencing replaced with brand-new panels
– floodlights added in a perfect semicircle
– two ranch hands walking the fence line with rifles
– a smell I can only describe as wet fur and pennies

And for the record: ranchers like the Turners don’t get spooked easily. These people lose calves to storms and predators every season. This time? They’re acting like the thing that hit their herd is classified.

They tried to wave me off the property when I stopped to ask if they needed help tracking whatever did it. One of them actually said:

“We’ve already taken care of it.”

Anyone heard anything else about the Turners lately? They’re buttoned up real tight, even for a family that doesn’t like outsiders. Feels like they’re either covering for something… or covering something up.
