A short on an emf meter should peg high. That is not what you have happining.

Anyone else have trouble with DIY EMFs dying the second you go below ground level? Mine works fine in houses, motels, barns — but the moment I head into a cellar it fizzles like a wet firecracker.

Not talking overload, either. Battery’s fine, solder’s clean. It just… quits.

Starting to think something down there doesn’t want to be detected.

Anyone got basement-proof builds?
